Full Mascot Costume Cleaning

Whoever wears the suit at a roadshow or sports day leaves plenty of sweat in the foam. Our team works through the costume by hand, section by section, and applies an antibacterial treatment to the padding to clear the smell. Racks and open air then do the drying over 24 to 48 hours, which lets the foam keep its form. In tropical weather that patience counts, because leftover damp soon makes the smell return.

Mascot Cleaning Questions

Ask on WhatsApp
What does mascot suit cleaning cost in Singapore?

It costs S$66.70 for small, S$76.70 for medium and S$83.30 for large, and the head is part of that price. Props and accessories add S$10 per piece.

How many days should I allow?

Allow 3 to 5 days in total. Padding needs 24 to 48 hours lying flat, because any damp left in it brings odour back.

Do I pay extra for the head?

No, the head is included, inside and out, with the sweatband and lining sanitised. It is all handwork, since machines damage foam and glue.

Can you get rid of the sweat smell?

Yes, because we treat the foam and not just the fabric on top. Tropical heat drives that smell deep into a suit, so this is where the work needs to happen.

Would a washing machine be quicker?

It might be quicker, but it would ruin the suit, so we never use one. Handwork also looks after felt details and printed areas, and racks replace the dryer.

Can you turn a suit around before my event?

Yes, usually, as long as you give us the date when booking. Drying cannot be rushed, so contact us early when the event is close.

Is cleaning the same as sanitising?

No, they tackle different problems. Cleaning takes dirt and face paint off the fabric, and sanitising treats the foam and lining where sweat collects. One price covers both.

How do I store a costume once it is back?

Store it fully dry, hung up or flat, where air can move around it. Foam that is still damp when packed will smell again fast, and the head should stay out of sun and heat.
